Robert Fischer is a high performing logistics industry veteran with over 30 years of experience across operations and business development.

Robert began his career with Consolidated Freightways, rising to the position of Terminal Manager outside Chicago.  He then went on to K&R Delivery as their Hub Terminal Manager before moving to Black Hawk Freight Services as the District Manager for all of Chicago.  In 1999, Robert started at Jacobson Companies as the Director of Tobacco Operations, an extremely important vertical that manages the movement of millions of dollars of products.  His performance in that role led him to be Vice President of Operations in 2003 and Executive Vice President of Operations in 2007.

Following Jacobson's acquisition by Norbert Dentressangle in 2014, Robert continued as EVP of Operations for the company's US-based Contract Logistics Services, responsible for more than 18 million square feet of warehouse and dedicated trucking operations with 2,500+ associates.

He joined XPO Logistics following the acquisition of Norbert Dentressangle from 2015 to 2019 as a Senior Vice President of Operations responsible for 15 million square feet of warehouse and dedicated trucking operations with 3,000+ associates.

Most recently, Robert was the President of FW Logistics, responsible for managing all Warehouse and Trucking operations, Sales, Administration, and Finance, reporting to the Board of Directors.
